VendorPayout pricing and payouts for Shopify stores
VendorPayout is a Shopify app for consignment and multi-vendor stores that tracks vendor sales, calculates flexible commission splits, gives vendors dashboard access, and supports scheduled payouts through PayPal. Plans start at $30 per month and each plan includes a 7-day free trial.
Plans and pricing
| Plan | Price | Vendor limit | Dashboard features | Support |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | $30/month | Up to 5 vendors | Orders and Reports | Basic support |
| Growth | $70/month | Up to 25 vendors | Orders, Reports, and Products | Priority support |
| Scale | $150/month | Unlimited vendors | Orders, Reports, Products, and Inventory | Priority support |
Every published plan includes a 7-day free trial. Charges are billed through the Shopify account. The Shopify App Store listing states that charges are billed in USD and recurring and usage-based charges are billed every 30 days.
Note: Scale's unlimited-vendors limit does not establish unlimited orders, products, SKUs, reports, exports, dashboard users, or other usage.
How VendorPayout handles commissions
VendorPayout supports vendor splits as a percentage or fixed dollar amount by vendor, product, or SKU. Multiple vendors can receive different splits from one product, and split overrides provide control when an item needs an exception.
For configuration detail, see configure splits for your vendors and create split overrides.
Reports and vendor visibility
Shopify order data syncs automatically for reporting, with manual sync available. Vendor reports can be filtered by payment status, vendor, and date range, and can be reviewed from vendor totals down to products and associated orders.
Report results can be exported as CSV or PayPal Mass Payments format. Vendors can receive separate dashboard access to view sales information and payout history. Learn about reporting in VendorPayout.
Vendor payout options
PayPal Payouts is an optional way to automate vendor payments. Recurring payouts can be scheduled daily, weekly, monthly, or quarterly after an active PayPal Payouts connection and at least one successful PayPal vendor payout.
Recurring payout controls include grace periods of none, 7 days for weekly payouts, 30 days for monthly payouts, and 90 days for quarterly payouts. Moderation can be set to auto approve, auto approve up to an amount, or approval required.
Merchants can also record payments made outside VendorPayout, such as a check or bank transfer. See schedule recurring payouts, review commissions and pay vendors, and manage vendor payouts.
Frequently asked questions
Is there a free trial?
Yes. Each published plan includes a 7-day free trial. Shopify installation prompts for payment information before the trial begins.
Does VendorPayout charge a percentage of store sales?
The published pricing sources show subscription plans. In VendorPayout documentation, commission refers to the merchant's rules for splitting earnings with vendors. The public plan information does not explain whether or how a usage-based charge applies to VendorPayout stores.
Can I edit an individual order or prevent a vendor from being paid for it?
Yes. Individual orders can be customized or edited after syncing, including an order that should not be paid to a vendor.
What is required to use recurring PayPal payouts?
Use an active PayPal Payouts connection and complete at least one successful PayPal vendor payout. PayPal account setup requires a PayPal Business account with Payouts access, verified identity, a confirmed email address, a linked bank account, and sufficient funds.
Can I make or record a manual vendor payment?
Yes. The PayPal payment form uses the vendor's PayPal email or US phone/Venmo number, currency, and amount. Payments made outside VendorPayout can also be recorded manually, and vendors can be marked paid in bulk.
When exactly are scheduled payouts sent?
Schedules are daily, weekly, monthly, or quarterly and take place after order processing rather than during checkout. Exact trigger time, timezone, processing window, and failed-payment handling depend on the payout configuration and PayPal.
